Mona, I would check with videographers about this service…if they aren’t offering it, check with the photographers as well…I imagine Someone is doing it. At the wedding I performed, they had a friend doing it. As long as you have a strong internet connection, a decent video camera and a microphone, it should work. The internet connection is really the key. Good luck!

I love hearing that this works. We are in a similar situation. My future daughter in law’s family may not be able to get to the States for the ceremony. We are all heartbroken, but especially my future daughter in law. Thanks for the instructions but if I were to hire soomeone to do it just so I would not have yet “one more thing to do on the wedding day” should I look for a videographer or a photographer?

Thanks for this post. I’m looking for a similar solution. My daughter is going to New Zealand for a quiz competition and her Dad can’t make the trip but would love to watch (or even just listen). Did the wedding party just use the video mike for the sound? Was the sound quality OK?
