Jason Jones
DJ/MC & Co-founder of Elegant Event Entertainment, Inc.
Jason Jones came to Los Angeles all the way from North Carolina where he was a Wedding DJ in Asheville, NC. He partnered with Chris Mortillaro to form Elegant Event Entertainment DJs in Los Angeles in 2007, and helps run the company and develops the marketing and systems for us…but he’s still at his best working with Brides and Grooms and corporate event planners. He is one of the most accomplished and passionate wedding and event DJ/Emcees in the business, with hundreds and hundreds of Weddings under his belt and thousands of elated customers. Leading up to your Wedding or event, he is a wealth of knowledge for helping you plan the itinerary, select the music, and deal with logistical issues that you might never have thought of.
At the Event, Jason is consistently improving the atmosphere and entertainment value of your event with his music choices while always incorporating your wishes. His experience offers him the ability to see everything at an event, correcting problems before they arise. He is also a great communicator and works extremely well with your other vendors to create a stress-and-ego-free work environment.
Jason is a class act on the microphone and keeps the order of events running smoothly while making your guests fully aware of what is happening throughout the evening. As a DJ, Emcee, Entertainer, Coordinator, Consultant, he will fascinate you with the ease, style and professionalism with which he handles and executes your event. In addition to his experience as a DJ/MC and Business owner, Jason Jones is a professional voiceover actor in Los Angeles, and has been heard in over 4000 commercials and recordings all over the world. He voices daily from his home studio LA. Jason is also a highly trained professional actor/singer and has performed professionally in dozens of Musical and Theatrical Productions as a leading role, such as “The Wizard of Oz”, “The Music Man”, “Kiss Me Kate”, “Into the Woods”, “Camelot”, and many more. He has performed and sung with wedding bands as well as with the National Symphony, Asheville Symphony Chorus, many church and cathedral choirs, as well as singing groups that have toured Europe. His Southern Charm and extraordinary talent and training will delight you and your guests. Jason looks forward to working with you on your special occasion!
Chris Mortillaro
DJ/MC & Co-founder of Elegant Event Entertainment, Inc.
Chris Mortillaro loves to DJ more than just about anything else. He began his career in 1988 and now with more than 2000 events behind him, Chris is among the most accomplished and experienced DJs in the southern california region. His love and passion for music have always driven his motivation to constantly improve his abilities as a DJ in order to provide clients with an unforgettable entertaining experience. Chris started “Elegant Event Entertainment” with Jason Jones in late 2007, bringing together two of the most talented DJ/Emcee’s in the country to form one of the fastest growing DJ Companies in Los Angeles. As a DJ, Chris brings an amazingly vast knowledge of music to your event, and can read any crowd, assuring a packed dance floor and a lot of tired legs. Chris maintains a youthful image and approach, while interlacing style, professionalism and veteran experience at your event. His ability to work well with your other vendors is priceless, and you can feel at ease that your event will be treated as the most important day of the year. Chris’s experience and vast knowledge of hundreds of the venues in Southern California help him as a coordinator of events and Emcee. Because he knows the rules and logistics of each location, Chris can help his clients make important decisions about timelines, itineraries, music choices, and logistics that other, less experienced DJs simply wouldn’t know. Like his business partner Jason, Chris is one of the most referred DJs in Southern California particularly in the wedding industry.
Chris is also a senior production manager in the television industry, and has been working in entertainment for 20 years.
When Chris isn’t busy with work, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and 4 kids, and in his spare time he finds great joy in mixing and restoring old vinyl recordings in his home studio or watching the Steelers.
DJ Jon:
Jon proclaims music to be his number one passion, and feels fortunate to turn that passion into a career. Jon’s vast knowledge of musical styles and genres has earned him the nickname “the human jukebox.” Jon has a great time at all of his events; he is friendly, entertaining, fun, and overall, great with people. He is comfortable as a DJ and/or Emcee at any type of event. Jon will work directly with his clients to guide their music selections for the event, to assure them that their favorite tunes will be played and mixed well with a lot of great music for every guest to enjoy. Jon also helps his clients put together event timelines, and suggests creative aspects to add to the party which always give a unique flare and help the personalities of the “guest of honor” shine at their event! DJ Jon is also an accomplished guitar player and singer and can add those talents and services to your party, ceremony, or any event upon request. And, Jon is also our best Bar/Bat Mitzvah DJ, he’s great with kids! Ask us about additional packages including Jon’s live musical performance talents.
DJ Luis has an enormous passion for DJing Weddings, Private Parties, Clubs and other special occasions. With 15 years of experience, he comes to us with a vast knowledge of every corner of the Mobile DJ market. He is a master at the mixing console and with making the right choices for music selection as well as being a very talented and professional Emcee for your event. Luis is also Bilingual, with English as his first language and fluent in Spanish. You’ll love working with Luis, while he is easy going and not pressuring to his clients, he’s also extremely professional, punctual, and extraordinarily helpful on your very special day. We’re happy to have Luis join us at EEE!
DJ Johnny has been perfecting his skills as a DJ since the Summer of 88’. His longevity as a DJ has made him one of the most precise mixers in the Industry! From oldies, rock, funk, disco, and old school to the latest hits, Johnny can bring your guests to the dance floor and keep them there! Johnny’s Emcee abilities range from elegant professional to very energetic and captivating. As a Wedding DJ, he makes sure that all your formalities are executed in elegant fashion and style! When working with Johnny as the DJ, every client and every Bride & Groom can feel at ease knowing that their event will run smoothly and everyone will have a great time at his events. Although Johnny is not also fluent in Spanish, he does have a vast knowledge and understanding of latin culture and music. Often, if a client requests a fully fluent Bilingual MC, we pair Johnny with another fully bi-lingual MC and they work perfectly as a team. Johnny’s mixing skills and personality are a huge draw for all of his clients, we know you’ll love him too!
